Cornwall Community Foundation helps to build stronger communities by encouraging local giving. All the money we raise stays in Cornwall to support volunteer-led, grassroots community groups across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Our mission is to make sustainable funding available to address disadvantage and strengthen communities by promoting effective philanthropy.
BBC Children in Need is the BBC’s UK corporate charity. Thanks to the support of the public, we’re able to make a real difference to the lives of children all across the UK. We provide grants to projects in the UK which focus on children and young people who are disadvantaged. We are local to people in all corners of the UK and support small and large organisations which empower children and extend their life choices.
The Trust has been providing grant assistance since 1979. It has made over 9,000 grants totalling over £8 million to registered charities and other non-profit groups working in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. The Charity has its own funds endowed by the Norman Family. It does not undertake any fundraising activities and does not have the need for any volunteer workers.
